JSC Giprogazoochistka Chooses SmartPlant for Complex Refinery Projects

JSC Giprogazoochistka, a leading Russian engineering company specialising in oil and gas processing and petrochemical industries, has chosen solutions from Intergraph Process, Power & Marine to improve in-house engineering design processes.

The company selected Intergraph, a Hexagon business, to integrate all relevant design data in one system, Intergraph Smart 3D. Other purchased solutions include SmartPlant P&ID and SmartPlant Interop Publisher.

With more than 80 years of experience in large-scale engineering projects, JSC Giprogazoochistka works with many leading companies in the oil and gas industries. Due to the complexity of these projects, the company was looking for an intelligent 3D design solution that would enable integration of all disperse design data in one 3D model located in a centralised system. With Smart 3D and SmartPlant Interop Publisher, JSC Giprogazoochistka will be able to standardise engineering processes, improve 3D design quality and flexibly work between different file types and software providers.

Future use of Intergraph solutions by JSC Giprogazoochistka includes engineering projects for the petrochemical industry in greenfield and brownfield environments.

“With increasing the use of Intergraph solutions, JSC Giprogazoochistka aims to expand its services portfolio and client base,” said Sergey Terentjev, deputy director general for JSC Giprogazoochistka. “This enables us to improve project execution, reduce time needed for approval processes and improve the quality of documentation, enhancing overall engineering efficiency.”

Gerhard Sallinger, Intergraph Process, Power & Marine president, said, “We at Intergraph PP&M are pleased to see that our focus on developing the highest quality plant design solutions continues to provide our customers with possibilities to succeed in this challenging economic environment. It is great to see that leading engineering companies, such as JSC Giprogazoochistka, continue to trust in our experience.”
